I don’t have to be perfectly formed to belong in the Garden.
Not every step in the process feels confident. Not everything we create looks the way we imagined it would. The victory isn’t that we created something “perfect”, but that we stayed. Staying long enough to see the beauty we couldn’t see at first, to find the parts we love. Maybe this painting was about learning not to discard something simply because it wasn’t becoming what I expected.
and maybe this includes me.
I am still becoming. And I’m still here.
